On Monday night swimmers from eight of our member colleges were involved in the VSAC Swimming Championships. This event showcases the best talent from across all Associations around Victoria. The ACC Swimming Representative Team was in tremendous spirits heading into the event with swimmers extremely excited to represent their College but also their Association.

The eight schools involved included: De La Salle, Parade, Salesian, Simonds, St Bede’s, St Bernard’s, St Mary’s and Whitefriars. Swimmers ranged from year 7 through to year 12. This event is always fantastic to have students meet other students within the Association but also build friendships.

The ACC placed 6th Overall in the Boys competition and had a few great placings along the way on the night.

Our placed results were:
– 3rd – 6x50m Freestyle Relay – Joshua Tulloch (Simonds), Max Cronin (Șt Bede’s), Makaio De Thomasis (Parade), Xavier Purcell (Șt Bernard’s), Henry Owen (Șt Bede’s) & Kye McSweeney (St Bernard’s)
– 3rd – 14-15 50m Butterfly – Ryo Hayashi (De La Salle)
