Swimming Results

The first major sporting event on the ACC calendar was held on Friday evening – the 2017 Swimming Championship at MSAC. There was an even spread of results across the age groups, some outstanding individual performances and a wonderful atmosphere at the venue.

Division 1

Whitefriars College continued their recent dominance of this event, winning their 4th Division 1 title in succession. De La Salle and St Bede’s were close behind and could challenge for the coveted number 1 position next year. Parade were the big movers, clinching 4th position after being promoted back into the top tier for 2017.

Division 2

In Division 2, it was Salesian College that jumped the field to claim their first title since 2012, finishing ahead of CBC St Kilda and St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully. Simonds Catholic College won the new award for the “Most Improved” school.
