Rock Rules

The annual Rock Music Workshop and Battle of the Bands was held yesterday at CBC St. Kilda. We had 7 schools involved in the day, with the first two sessions based on skill development and technique, and the final session being the highly anticicpated rock competition. VET Music Students from St Bernard’s College looked after the sound component, mixing and recording all of the bands as they performed. Guest judges provided an independent viewpoint and also provided feedback for the various bands. The winner of this year’s competition was “Broken Bird” from CBC St. Kilda. Congratulations to all involved and thanks to David O’Meara and the CBC staff and students for a wonderful job hosting the event.
