Junior Debating & Public Speaking
One of the most important skills a young man can learn is the ability to speak with confidence and to present his ideas and thoughts in a clear and concise manner. This focus has been a key driver in the programmes that the schools have had in place preparing the Year 7 & 8 students for the ACC Junior Debating & Public Speaking competition.
Although the event is based on competition, the wonderful camaraderie on display amongst the participants helped to create an enjoyable atmosphere. The quality of speeches was very high and the closeness of results was evident of a very even competition. Well done to all students on their involvement and to all of the staff members for an excellent job in preparing them for the event.
