Jazz Improvisation
The annual Stage Band workshop was held at Parade College yesterday, featuring guest presenters from “Points In Time”, a jazz quartet lead by Steve Sedergreen. The focus of the workshop was on exploring improvisation techniques and musicality, with the students engaged fully throughout the day and enjoying the opportunity to listen to and work with some outstanding professional jazz musicians. Our thanks to Parade for their hospitality and especially to Martin Macaulay for a terrific job in organising the workshop.
